coming to Long Island Saturday October 5th 2019 !

One of the things we believe at Gaglione Strength is that everyone possesses the ability to get stronger. Some people may not be able to compete in other sports due to their disabilities, but powerlifting is almost always an option! In some cases, powerlifting’s bench press event can be a great option for those people even with major limitations.

We want to provide an event to expose more people to this style of powerlifting and provide a positive outlet for those athletes who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance to compete in other forms of athletics. These events can be a stepping stone toward Para Olympic Sport, where the most Elite athlete can compete against one another in spite of any disabilities they may have.

Athletes will get lecture topics and hands on drills during the camp to learn more about the sport and what it takes to compete.

A clinic will be held for those who aspire to compete in a sanctioned competition and learn the rules associated with Para Powerlifting as well as hands on time to practice the bench press.
